Dr. Jörg Heyer advises on commercial and corporate law as well as mergers & acquisitions. He is a member of the supervisory board of various medium-sized companies.

Dr. Jörg Heyer initially trained as a banker, then went on to study law at the University of Cologne, where he received his doctorate in 1996. From 1996 to 1997, he worked as a lawyer for Wessing Berenberg-Gossler Zimmermann Lange in Düsseldorf, from 1997 to 2001 as a lawyer and partner for Clifford Chance in Düsseldorf and London, from 2001 to 2017 as a partner at Schlütter Debatin und Bornheim (now: Seitz) in Cologne, and since 2017 as a sole practitioner. Since August 2021, he has been Of Counsel for Aderhold Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in Cologne. Heyer is a member of the working groups on commercial and corporate law, as well as sports law of the German Bar Association.
