Sven Degenhardt provides comprehensive advice to companies in the rehabilitation and restructuring arenas and in all questions related to the winding up of companies. His main focus is on reaching a consensus on the best possible economic solutions - not only for those companies directly affected but also for customers, suppliers and creditors alike – solutions which allow the continued existence of the companies concerned.

Sven Degenhardt first completed a diploma in banking and then went on to study law at the Universities of Bonn and Aberystwyth, Wales. He was awarded his Master of Laws qualification by the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. From 2002 to 2004, Sven Degenhardt was engaged in the corporate law division at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He then went on to join Aderhold & Kollegen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft GmbH where he was appointed partner in 2008. Since April 2011 he has been engaged as lawyer and partner at the Düsseldorf branch of Aderhold Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. In August 2021, Degenhardt moved to the firm's new location in Cologne, where he has been leading the office ever since.
