Thorsten Sörup is a German Attorney at Law specialized in information technology law and employment law. He advises national and international companies in all matters of IT, telecommunication and data protection law, and acts as External Data Protection Officer.
His work comprises the negotiation and conception of software contracts, IT-related out- and in-sourcing measures, licence contracts as well as the drafting of general terms and conditions. He represents content-, network-, service- and technology-providers in the telecommunication sector which includes the realization and implementation of new communication services, the advice of App developers or the representation of clients in regulatory proceedings at the BNetzA [Federal Network Agency] or the administrative courts. In the data protection sector, he develops processing concepts and data transfer agreements on a national and international level, designs consent declarations for advertising campaigns as well as Data Privacy Policies.
